POST DECADENT
RECONSTRUCTED by XMAS
Xmas Maxon-Alley is a California
native with an adventurous nature.
She spent most of her life traveling
and wearing many hats including
welder, hospitality services, musician,
international tour manager and
promoter before majoring in economics
at the University of Colorado. She
and her family relocated to Vermont
in 2004. Her longstanding passion for
vintage clothing and environmental
concerns prompted her to open her
shop, the Green Closet (Winooski)
in the summer of 2005. Since then
she has been reconstructing wouldbe
throw away clothing into new
wearable fashions she calls Post
Decadent Reconstructed, evolving
into full fl edged fashion design. She
still refashions vintage and unwanted
clothing, but most of her time is
devoted to designing original one-of-akind
pieces with recycled materials.
